Luxury car hire customers may want to purchase a vehicle that includes one of a new range of higher-powered diesel engines.
Top of the new range is the fastest diesel Jaguar ever, the XF V6 Diesel S, which is capable of reaching 60 miles per hour from standstill in 5.9 seconds.
Other attributes of the vehicle is that it has a top speed 155 miles per hour and CO2 emissions of 179g/km.
This 3.0-litre vehicle offers drivers "truly the best of both worlds", according to Mike O' Driscoll, managing director at Jaguar Cars.
Mick Mohan, Jaguar programmes director, added: "This is another great example of Jaguar delivering unrivalled performance while at the same time taking the level of refinement in diesel engines to a whole new level."
To help deliver the extra power that was previously not obtainable in the 2.7-litre model, parallel sequential turbochargers are fitted, alongside a ZF 6HP28 automatic transmission.
The vehicle is a mid-size luxury car and replaced the Jaguar S-Type this year.
