Eco-friendly car hire enthusiasts may be interested in the latest concept car to be released by Lotus Engineering.
Making its debut next month at the Geneva Motor Show, the Evora 414E Hybrid combines breathtaking performance with efficient drive technologies.
The car stores electrical power in a lithium polymer battery pack designed for energy efficiency and it will allow the vehicle to complete an impressive hybrid range of over 300 miles.
It boasts a unique design that highlights its electrical capabilities, with a "floating roof", copper interior and exterior colour scheme completing its look.
Lotus explains: "The Evora 414E Hybrid has been designed to highlight Lotus' electric and hybrid vehicle technology without distracting from the pure sports car character of the Evora.
"The solution is innovative, instantly recognisable, beautiful and sporty. "
Furthermore, the sports car ethos of the company has not been lost, despite its electric nature, with the zero to 60mph dash completed in sub-four seconds.
The standard Lotus Evora was awarded Autocar's Best Driver's Car 2009 accolade.
