Blistering acceleration from a still position is one of the positives that motorists can expect from a Porsche Cayenne Turbo, it has been stated.
Harry Metcalfe writes for Evo that initially he thought that the vehicle struggled in the department of pulling away at speed, but realised that this changed when he pressed the Sport button.
He said: "This sharpens the throttle response and makes the gearbox slot into first when you come to a halt.
"The result is a ballistic charge away from rest that's much more in keeping with what you might expect from a vehicle as nutty as the Cayenne Turbo undoubtedly is."
Acceleration from immobile to 62 miles per hour takes 5.1 seconds and 100 miles per hour from still can be achieved in 11.4 seconds, while a top speed of 171 miles per hour is a possibility.
Meanwhile, comfort is also no issue for motorists, with ergonomically-crafted front seats offering high lateral support, and the memory package included as standard can store details of three different drivers.
Additionally, motorists are given the choice between a host of metallic exterior colours, including Basalt Black, Crystal Silver and Meteor Grey.
