Individuals interested in executive car hire may wish to take advantage of the new BMW 5-Series, which one reviewer has claimed has the best interior in its class.

Writing for iMotormag, Matt Watson highlights the high level of luxury and space that motorists are able to take advantage of, both in the front and the rear.

He recommends going for the 530d model, which boasts similar performance statistics to the range-topping 535i but represents a more economical alternative, achieving 45mpg.

"BMW has shot back to the top of the class with the new 5-Series … great engines, great chassis and great premium features," Mr Watson notes.

"But this car offers something more than any other 5 that BMW has made. It rides seriously well and the interior's superb luxury and ambience is a real step forward."

The manufacturer says that this sixth generation vehicle has been designed to create a dynamic and sporty look, while retaining the contemporary styling of previous models.
