The new Mercedes-Benz E-Class has set a benchmark in the premium estate sector, the company has claimed.

Those interested in Mercedes car hire might like to take advantage of the car's class-leading load space and enhanced practicality.

The estate car has rear self-levelling air suspension to ensure that ride and handling are not compromised when at maximum weight capacity.

"With class-leading load capacity, enhanced practicality, greater fuel efficiency and low emissions…the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate…has set a new benchmark for the premium estate sector," the manufacturer comments.

Motorists attracted by the E-Class range have the choice between three diesel and four petrol engines, with most boasting Mercedes fuel-saving BlueEFFICIENCY technology.

The E 220 CDI Estate will allow drivers to get 49.6 mpg, and emits just 150 g/km.

A recent review in the Liverpool Echo highlighted the effortless performance given by the E-Class.
