Coleen Rooney is such a big fan of her Range Rover that she has decided to put her signature in gold on the inside door panel to ensure there is no doubt who the vehicle belongs to, the Daily Star reports.

The 23-year-old has only owned the customised Overfinch 4x4 for a few weeks after purchasing the vehicle shortly after giving birth for the first time in November to son Kai.

A source told the paper that the addition not only further gives the vehicle its own stamp but also is likely to keep husband Wayne out of the driver's seat.

"She absolutely loves the Range Rover. She's even signed it twice with a kiss - just like the signature on her perfume - and it's in gold," the source stated in the newspaper.

"It certainly leaves Wayne in no doubt that the motor is hers."

Manchester United footballer Wayne does not have the greatest track record when driving vehicles belonging to his wife and ran into some problems on a motorway in 2008.

A previous Range Rover had to be towed away after it was discovered that the striker had filled it with unleaded rather than diesel when visiting a petrol station.
