The British car company was named as the second most reliable firm for its XF luxury vehicle in the driver-voted awards.

In excess of 23,000 motorists took part in the study, which saw a shock win in the category for the Hyundai i30.

In addition to its dependable nature, the range-topping 5.0-litre supercharged V8 XFR delivers performance in abundance as well.

The high-performance model is able to complete the dash to 60mph in just 6.7 seconds and has a top speed of 155mph.

Earlier this month, Jaguar reported that sales of its popular XF car had helped to bolster the manufacturer's figures for the first quarter of the year.

The company put the vehicle's success down to the introduction of a number of new enhancements introduced earlier this year.
