Range Rover car hire customers may be interested in the latest bit of technology that can be employed to make the vehicles even more powerful.
A new upgrade has been released for the Range Rover TDV8 and Sport models which will add an additional 53bhp and 191N of torque to the 3.6-litre twin turbocharged V8 engines.
The upgrade is available through car remapping specialists Superchips Ltd and aims to cleverly optimise the car's settings to ensure peak performance can be achieved.
In addition to improving the 4x4's performance, the upgrade also works towards boosting fuel efficiency within the car by ten per cent.
"The ECU remap, allied to the extra torque of the Superchips upgrade, realises fuel economy improvements on the Range Rover TDV8, largely because the increased urgency at smaller throttle openings translates into fuel consumption gains," the company explained.
Earlier this year, Range Rover modification specialist Overfinch released details of its upgraded luxury model, which featured a polished walnut interior and champagne fridge.
