Bentley car hire customers will be pleased to hear about the rigorous testing procedure which each of the manufacturer's vehicles are subject to before their release.
Discussing the forthcoming flagship Mulsanne model, the company claimed that before the car makes it off the production line, no less than 2,000 quality checks will have been performed on it.
A total of 98 engineers will work on ensuring that the car's painted body, leather hides, wood veneers, 6.75-litre engine and electrical components are put together with the utmost care.
Gary Webster, the Mulsanne production manager, revealed the high standards the staff must adhere to when building the luxury grand cruiser.
"A range of made-to-order protective shields are fitted to the car and our team have an in-depth understanding of the best places to apply pressure," he added.
"Every member of the build team is respectful of the value and importance of the car they're making."
Earlier this year, the manufacturer revealed that it takes its skilled craftsmen and women 125 hours to create the body of the Mulsanne, while a further 170 hours must be employed to craft the car's sumptuous interior.
