Bentley's new flagship model, the Mulsanne, is set to be a mix of elegance and sportiness with a guarantee of world-class build quality.
The
prestige car hire manufacturer has now described the complex process that it is undertaking to produce its latest luxury performance car.
It says a total of 125 man-hours are required to craft the body of the Mulsanne, with state-of-the-art technology working in partnership with skilled coachbuilders at its new multi-million-pound factory in Crewe.
Gary Picken, senior production manager, explains that extensive testing has been employed to ensure that the new model is able to achieve the quality that it is renowned for.
He continues: "The Mulsanne has a beautiful and very complex body
within one assembly area we're utilising traditional skills for which Bentley is renowned right alongside state-of-the-art manufacturing technology.
"We combine these two different approaches because it is the best possible route to create a car that will be enjoyed by generations of drivers."
The Mulsanne will have a 6-litre V8 engine which generates 505bhp.
