enthusiasts may have been keeping up to date with the latest developments in this year's Carrera Cub GB.

Tim Harvey managed to extend his lead in the championship after winning his fourth consecutive race at the Rockingham circuit last weekend.

Having led from the start in both races, the experienced driver opened up a 12-point gap at this early stage of the season.

Commenting on his success so far this season, Harvey announced his delight to be at the top of the standings.

"That's the best start I've ever had to a Carrera Cup season. We've all worked very hard for that and the guys in the Red Line team have done a great job," he added.

The next round of the Carrera Cup will be taking place at Brands Hatch circuit, Kent, during the weekend starting May 1st.

Drivers in the competition compete in near-standard Porsche 911 GT3 vehicles.
