Porsche car hire customers may be interested in following the 2010 Carrera Cup GB which kicks off next month.
For the first time in the race's history, the sector features a full 28-car line up, with various teams challenging to be crowned the overall winner at the end of the race season.
The news betters the previous record set last season, when 27 vehicles competed against each other at the tail-end of the championship.
Andy Goss, managing director of Porsche Cars GB, said that it was a great situation for the race series to be in.
"The entries for the 2010 season are impressive. The drivers and teams have worked very hard to get to this stage and we are set for the best season ever," he added.
"I'm particularly pleased that the field is a great mix of established competitors and an influx of newcomers."
Earlier this year, the manufacturer released a race-tuned Carrera GT3 for road-going motorists to take advantage of.
