Aston Martin car hire
enthusiasts may be pleased to learn that the first deliveries of the marque's four-door Rapide vehicle have commenced.

According to the manufacturer, shipments of the car have left the production plant and will reach customers and showrooms worldwide over the course of the next 34 weeks.

The vehicle, which was first unveiled to the motoring public at the 2006 Detroit Auto Show, combines Aston Martin's commitment to performance, high quality craftsmanship and elegant design.

Powered by a hand-built 6.0-litre V12 engine which produces a staggering 470bhp, the Rapide is able to complete the dash to 60mph in just 5.1 seconds.

Motorists who opt for the high-performance sports car will be able to enjoy the attention to detail that the manufacturer has placed on it.

The four doors open up and out at an angle of 12 degrees to ensure that scuffs and scratches can be avoided when parked next to a raised pavement, while the pillarless side glass conveys the vehicle's coupe-like credentials.
