An improvement in styling is one of the changes Porsche has made to its new Cayenne, a reviewer has noted.
In an article for autocar.com, Greg Kable stated that the new Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid is likely to be a major rival to BMW's X6, Lexus's RX400 and the Mercedes-Benz M400 Hybrid.
He also praises the vehicle's performance, describing it as being akin to the 400bhp 4.8 litre V8 Cayenne S.
Porsche car hire enthusiasts may be interested to know that the petrol engine used in the hybrid model is the same supercharged 3.0 litre V6 which is found in the Audi S4.
"The new four wheel drive displays exceptional levels of mechanical refinement without any indication of the complex processes taken by its advanced driveline," Mr Kable noted in the article.
The Cayenne possesses a zero to 62 mph time of 6.5seconds and returns 34.5mpg, which makes it the most fuel-efficient car in Porsche's entire line-up.
