Range Rover car hire clients will be able to take advantage of more comfort and a lighter chassis on the forthcoming off-road vehicle.
Set to be released in 2012, the iconic 4x4 has been tipped to be a more fuel efficient and more luxurious than the current models.
Motorists will be able to enjoy this improved performance, in part, due to a new riveted aluminium chassis which will offer significant weight savings in comparison to its predecessor.
In addition, the next Range Rover is expected to be powered by one of two diesel engines. A 300bhp V8 or a 260bhp V6 will ensure that accelerating and overtaking is an effortless task.
According to Autocar, one well-placed insider revealed that the vehicle was to be more customer focussed.
They continued: "The feedback from existing customers was [that they wanted] more rear legroom, so that's what we're going to give them.
"The level of workmanship in the interior will really knock out the opposition."
Land Rover has enjoyed a successful start to 2010, with sales of their cars up compared to last year.
