Sports car hire enthusiasts may wish to view the latest offering from Lotus Engineering currently on display at the Geneva Motor Show.

The Evora Carbon Concept has been designed with the manufacturer's long and illustrious motor racing history in mind and as such underpins the company's high standards when it comes to car production.

Donato Coco, director of Lotus Design, said: "The design of the Evora Carbon Concept car features exotic, high-tech materials that offer a good synergy with the Lotus brand image.

"Expressing our motorsport heritage and history of stylish sports cars for which Lotus are renowned."

The car combines carbon fibre detailing with its lightweight aluminium bonded chassis to give motorists handling similar to the class-leading standard Evora.

Other stylistic details include 19-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, a carbon fibre-based diffuser, roof and splitter.

Meanwhile, Lotus incorporates stunning design to the car's interior with more carbon fibre panels sitting alongside perforated leather and matt alcantara detailing.

The Lotus Evora was named as the Best Drivers Car in 2009 by car magazine Autocar.
