customers will be pleased to know that the Cayenne Turbo offers outstanding cornering ability and performance.

The new vehicle has benefitted from an exterior facelift and Porsche says that power, agility and efficiency have all been increased.

Writing for the Times, Dan Trent praises the performance of the large 4x4, with the off-roader boasting some impressive statistics.

The new direct-engine V8 offers motorists 494bhp and is able to sprint to 62mph in just 4.7 seconds - as quick as a 911 Carrera.

However, Mr Trent saves his main praise for the handling ability of the Cayenne, which has benefitted from a reduction in overall bodyweight of 110kg.

"The ride quality on the air suspension is impressive: the Cayenne is flat and poised like a sports car in corners, but swallows up lumps, bumps and potholes as though they were not there," he added.

Meanwhile, also in the Cayenne range is a Hybrid 4x4 which emits just 193 g/km, making it the cleanest Porsche throughout the company's entire portfolio.
