BMW has made subtle improvements to the latest 5-Series which should help it stay top of its class.
According to a review in the Sun, Phil Lanning believes the new 5-Series has benefited from a larger interior space as well as expert on-road handling.
BMW car hire enthusiasts may be interested in the subtle changes to the car's exterior design, as while it still displays the trademark dual front grille, it has a softer-looking concave bonnet and a new "coupe-like profile" from side-on.
Coupled with 17in alloy wheels, the vehicle has been given an altogether more "racy" appeal.
"Its grip and agility are quite incredible under pressure, especially for a big four-door saloon," Mr Lanning notes in the article.
The car will be available with a choice of six engines when it goes on sale in the UK, with the entry-level Efficient Dynamics 520d boasting an impressive CO2 output of just 132g/km.
BMW has been producing the 5-Series since 1972.
