Most powerful Bentley does not disappoint in making a statement
Jan 8 2010, 04:21 PM
Motorists looking to make a statement with their vehicle of choice will definitely do just that by purchasing the Bentley GT Continental Supersports, according to Richard Hammond.

Writing in his column for the Daily Mirror, the Top Gear presenter spoke highly of the most powerful Bentley to ever grace the roads, particularly its ability to turn heads.

Mr Hammond remarked that "there are also a great many reasons for loving" the vehicle, especially in terms of the rumbling engine and special interior.

Meanwhile, the car has the agility to tackle corners in a promising way despite its huge size, the reviewer noted.

He said: "The ride should be hideously crashing and lumpy. But it isn't. Neither does it feel weighty and bloated when you turn into faster corners.

"In fact, it tucks in and follows its line with splendid accuracy and cast-iron reliability."

Furthermore, the 621 brake horsepower generated by the vehicle's 12-cylinder engine allows motorists pressing hard on the throttle to reach a top speed of 205 miles per hour.

Among the vast array of colours that the Bentley GT Continental Supersports is available in are Sandstone, Midnight Emerald and Moonbeem.
