Mini fans to be treated to The Italian Job
Nov 30 2009, 05:50 PM
Mini car hire enthusiasts will have an opportunity to celebrate their favourite model when the 1969 classic The Italian Job is screened on a giant screen in the south-east of England.

The feature film starring Michael Caine will be shown at Pinewood Studios on December 4th in support of The Ellen MacArthur Trust, Mini World, a magazine dedicated to the iconic vehicle reported.

Fans of the Mini will be able to relive the movie's breathtaking car chases on the gigantic outdoor screen, which measures 41.8 meters wide by 17.8 metres high.

The Italian Job Charity Drive In Screening is aimed at helping the fundraising efforts of the charity, which is dedicated to inspiring young people's cancer recovery through sailing.

People wishing to experience the drive-in show can hire a modern MINI such as the John Cooper Works, the Mayfair or the One, which are available through London car rental companies.
