Mini car hire fans can expect new models to live up to 'core values' of the brand
Details surrounding Mini's forthcoming coupe and roadster models have been leaked, Autoblog has revealed.
The two new vehicles, which were first displayed at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show, are expected to make their way into the UK market by 2011, according to reports.
Mini car hire clients who have been following the development of the two cars will be pleased to hear that the manufacturer has not changed much in terms of their design in comparison to the concept models.
A slightly revised front fascia and bumpers are the main differences employed by the BMW-owned company.
According to Car Magazine, the manufacturer's head of exterior design, Marcus Syring, said: "The Coupe and Roadster are authentic Minis true to our core values.
"Every Mini must steer like a go-kart and be one of the three best handling cars in class ... and it must possess a unique Mini design you'll recognise at first glance."
Mini has already launched its Clubman model this year.
