London prestige car hire users are set to enjoy even more choice thanks to the unveiling of a special edition Mercedes car.

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class Executive SE features exterior styling and interior upgrades and will be available in both the Saloon and Estate versions.

Equipped with a manual C180 KOMPRESSOR BlueEFFICIENCY engine, the model, which could be popular among corporate car hire users, is capable of achieving 44.8 miles to the gallon on the combined cycle.

The vehicle is also eco-friendly thanks to its low carbon dioxide emission level of just 154 g/km and is also safe, having been awarded the full five stars by EuroNCAP when it launched in 2007.

Motorists can enjoy a Hill Start Assist feature in the car, which also comes equipped with an intelligent, anticipatory safety system designed to trigger the seat belt pre-tensioners and adaptive brake lights.
