Mercedes-Benz car hire enthusiasts can view an eco-friendly vision of the future at a new exhibition, it has been announced.

Motorists can head to Mercedes-Benz World in Surrey to see a special BlueEFFICIENCY exhibit, which demonstrates the manufacturer's commitment to innovative technologies aimed at cutting CO2 emissions.

Among the features on display is the latest Mercedes-Benz BlueTEC engine, which boasts the cleanest diesel technology available in the world.

It reduces emissions by injection a special fluid into the exhaust system through its new AdBlue technology.

There is also a 360-degree interactive area for visitors to explore, where they can learn about how hybrid vehicles are changing the nature of car design and how lithium-ion batteries are advancing the development of electric cars.

Meanwhile, the manufacturer will continue to pledge its commitment to eco-technologies at the Geneva Motor Show, where it will unveil its F800 concept car, which it says pairs efficiency with elegance.
