Executive car hire customers who are looking for a vehicle to provide them with high levels of comfort may want to consider the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet, it has been claimed.

Reviewing the E500 Sport model for the Daily Mail, celebrity chef James Martin noted that over the course of his 1,500-mile test drive, ride quality was not an issue.

"Through town the autobox was smooth and it handled like a dream, while on the twisty stuff¬ the sports button sharpened the ride so I could push it harder," he explained.

In addition, Mr Martin drew attention to the car's impressive performance, with the 5.5-litre V8 engine able to race to 60mph from still in just 5.2 seconds.

According to Mercedes-Benz, comfort in the E-Class Cabriolet is enhanced thanks to its sculpted, fully electronic ergonomic seats, while motorists who opt for the Sport model will benefit from multi-contoured seats.

Furthermore, innovative Agility Control suspension will ensure that a smooth, jolt-free journey can be enjoyed thanks to its continually-adjusting dampeners.
