Mercedes-Benz car hire customers will be pleased to hear that the new E-Class Cabriolet is difficult to fault, according to one reviewer.
Writing for Top Gear, Tom Ford describes the vehicle as a "peach" and adds that motorists will be able to benefit from the drop-top's "neat" looks.
"The slick lines once the roof has folded accentuate the best bits of the E's neat stance - especially the curved sweep over the rear wheelarch," he said.
Testing the range-topping E500 V8, Mr Ford drew attention to the car's impressive ride quality and performance.
Boasting a 5.5-litre 388bhp engine, zero to 62mph can be dealt with in just 5.3 seconds and a top speed of 155mph achieved when the road conditions allow.
"The Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet exudes a kind of confidence that's hard to fault. It looks good, feels good [and] drives well," he notes.
According to Mercedes-Benz, the E-Class Cabriolet strikes a balance between traditional and modern design thanks to features including an exaggerated shoulder line and arrow-shaped front end.
