Prestige car hire manufacturer Mercedes-Benz has picked up a readers' choice award for its M-Class.

The 4X4 was voted 'luxury SUV' by the readers of motoring magazine 'Off Road', with people drawn to the car's design and on-road and off-road performance.

Mercedes is keen to point out that the M-Class will allow motorists to benefit from a ride quality and comfort level normally enjoyed in a saloon vehicle and "unrivalled" safety features.

Meanwhile, design features of the vehicle include flared front wheel arches, a crenellated grille and a prominent front bumper, designed to ensure the car stands out from the crowd.

Comfort is enhanced through the four-way electric lumbar support featuring in the front seats, all of which have been designed to maximise support and style.

The ML 63 AMG combines luxury with performance, allowing drivers to reach 62mph in just five seconds and continuing all the way to 155mph.
