A very special, custom-built edition of the remarkable Lotus 2-Eleven will be making an appearance at this year's MPH the Prestige & Performance Motor show featuring Top Gear Live
Luxury car hire fans attending the show at Earls Court in London will be treated to a tribute model of the light-weight, British-built sports car, which has been painted like Jim Clark's Lotus Type 49 F1 car from the mid 1960s.
It features the original classic Team Lotus green and yellow racing colours that have been created to pay a stylish homage to the iconic racing colours from the original race model.
The 2-Eleven is truly fitting of the stripes as it is capable of a naught to 60mph performance in just 3.8 seconds, made possible by a 255 PS supercharged engine.
According to Porsche, this gives the model a power to weight ratio similar to that of a 1960s Formula 1 car.
Luxury car hire and performance vehicle fans attending the show, which kicked off yesterday (October 30) and runs until November 2 will also get to see other supercars being put through their paces.
