People interested in renting a Porsche Cayenne in London now have even more choice thanks to the addition of new diesel engine and hybrid drive models to the range.

Since the vehicle's launch six years back, the Porsche Cayenne has established itself as "one of the success stories of the automotive world", according to Porsche, which says more than 250,000 have been sold since.

This success has spurred the German vehicle manufacturer to chart into new territory with the Cayenne Diesel and the Cayenne Hybrid, which boasts a supercharged three-litre V6 engine with direct fuel injection and a an electric motor.

On the other hand the diesel version will come equipped with a three-litre V6 turbo diesel engine with an average consumption of 30.4mpg and low emissions of just 244g/km.

Motorists wishing to spruce up their driving skills can take advantage of the driving experience programme at the new Porsche Driving Experience Centre based at Silverstone in the south-east of England.
