The snow and ice covering the roads in recent days as made driving highly problematic for many motorists up and down the UK, but owning the right vehicle could have made the challenges posed easier.
Land Rover states that it has over 60 years of experience in producing vehicles that have the ability to succeed in the most difficult of terrains, including the wettest and iciest conditions.
This is aided by providing motorists with four-wheel-drive, alongside the generation of technology including Electronic Traction Control and Hill Descent Control.
These features and benefits have not only helped everyday motorists carry on to complete their daily errands but have also helped the emergency services continue to do the best job possible.
John Edwards, Land Rover UK managing director, said: "When conditions become treacherous, there is one manufacturer that the emergency services turn to - Land Rover.
"For many years, we have provided local police, ambulance services and recovery agencies with the loan of our vehicles to aid their work when faced with poor driving conditions."
Among the vehicles in the Land Rover fleet are the Defender, which has an especially impressive towing capability, a modern and comfortable interior and a 2.4-litre diesel engine.
