Motoring journalist and BBC show Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson has given the Jaguar XKR convertible a glowing commendation in a review published in a Sunday newspaper.
Fans of Jaguar car hire in London may want to check out the new model, which Mr Clarkson says "could rip a 911 clean in half while actually eating a
BMW 6-series".
And the vehicle could achieve this and still "have enough energy left to pull an SL's spine out", says the journalist in an article in the Sunday Times.
This great performance can be achieved in the luxury vehicle thanks to a new 5-litre supercharged V8 engine that gives the car a zero-60 capability of just 4.6 seconds.
Another reviewer writing in Posci.com has said the 2010 Jaguar XKR stands out because of the vehicle's "craftsmanship and care".
Going by the name Dan Crane, the writer said: "What makes the 2010 two-door XKR coupe and convertible so special is the feeling of pure, elegant refinement blended with uncompromising power."
