Prestige car hire enthusiasts and motor sport fans will be in for a treat in July when the next edition of the Goodwood Festival of Speed takes place.

The theme for the 2010 showcase expected to take place between July 2nd and 4th has been announced by the Earl of March, the force behind the world-famous event.

Themed Viva Veloce! – The Passion for Speed, the show will bring together leading personalities that have shaped the Formula One World Championship as 60 years of the sport are celebrated.

"It will be fabulous to have so many great cars and drivers here at Goodwood to celebrate our Italian-flavoured Viva Veloce! Theme," announced festival founder Lord March.

"I look forward with much anticipation to seeing some of the greatest drivers, riders and machines in action."

Those wishing to make a statement at the event can hire a prestige car such as a Rolls-Royce Phantom or a svelte supercar.
