Not satisfied with clinching awards that are sure to win it more car hire fans, Volkswagen is now offering the sixth generation Golf to motorists with some "attractive offers".

Boasting features that bode well with many luxury car hire and sports car rental fans, such as seven airbags and a first - a knee airbag to enhance safety, the new model is being offered to retailers for £200.

This is however not the entire cost of the vehicle, but the 36 monthly instalments payable for those who opt for Volkswagen finance solutions to purchase the car worth £16,000.

Air conditioning, a CD stereo system and body-coloured exterior trim as well as ABS and an electronic stabilisation programme all come as standard in the model, which is Europe's most successful car.

Volkswagen says the new model, which went on sale in the UK last week, is the "safest, most refined, most technically advanced and most dynamic iteration yet".
