Details have emerged about the new Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Roadster 722 S which will be available from January 2009.

The new open top vehicle can reach 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds with a top speed of 335 km/h.

Boasting a feature a fully retractable folding soft top the luxury car is ideal for those who want to feel the wind in their hair as they speed along.

Only 150 vehicles will come off the production line making it even more unique for luxury car enthusiasts.

The outside has been beautifully designed and sports a crystal antimony grey paint finish complete with black, grid-like air vents on the bonnet.

Inside the luxurious style continues with sports bucket seats upholstered in a combination of semi-aniline leather/Alcantara. Red seatbelts give the interior a striking splash of colour.
