If light, nimble, cleaner and smart appeal to you when it comes to luxury car hire in London, then news that the fifth generation Volkswagen Polo is set to hit the market may be welcome to you.
Coming 34 years after the original went on sale, the new Polo is being described by its German manufacturer as an "evergreen supermini" that is not only sharper, lighter and safer, but also more cutting edge than ever.
Volkswagen says the model is set to establish new standards in the small car class and comes in light weight - 7.5 per cent lighter than its predecessor in spite of being wider and longer.
The Polo is also "stronger, promises greater refinement and efficiency and features new packaging to make it the most versatile iteration yet", adds the carmaker.
Featuring an all-new body, the new model will come equipped with a choice of 1.2-litre TSI and 1.6-litre TDI common rail engines. A Polo BlueMotion II Concept car is also being launched.
The Geneva show runs until March 15th.
