Although it is not the most aesthetically pleasing car to look at, the new BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo offers motorists a 'fun' and roomy driving experience, a reviewer has noted.
Writing for the Daily Mail, James Martin highlights the advantages of the car's impressive size, describing it as one of the most comfortable cars he has ever driven.
BMW car hire fans may be interested to know that it is available with three different choices of engine: two 3.0-litre turbos- one petrol and one diesel- and a 4.4-litre TwinPower Turbo V8, which Mr Martin remarks is " brilliant, with masses of torque at low revs".
"I get the impression this car was born in a board meeting where everyone from the CEO to the tea boy was allowed to chuck in a great idea, and to avoid offence they've done all of them." he wrote in the Daily Mail review.
The 5 Series Gran Turismo also benefits from BMW's EfficientDynamics, designed to help reduce emissions and improve fuel consumption.
