Chrysler car hire aficionados are set to see a new look following news that the US carmaker has filed an application for a reworked logo with the US Patent and Trademark office.
The new design, which looks like a modification of the winged-style existing badge, represents the third time the company will be changing its look in recent years.
According to Fox News, the new symbol, which "seems oddly compressed in the vertical axis, is a sort of retro-modern combination of the winged Chrysler logos of the 1990s with a modern typeface and the Chrysler name".
One may be forgiven for mistaking the new logo for Aston Martin's due to the resemblance.
Meanwhile, those wishing to sample a model from the car manufacturer can
rent a Chrysler Grand Voyager or opt for the luxurious Chrysler 300.
Also owned by the company are the Dodge and Jeep brand, which includes vehicles such as the Viper and the Grand Cherokee repsectively.
