Chrysler car hire enthusiasts could soon enjoy new models following news that the car manufacturer's vehicle line-up could be expanded with new cars, it has been reported.
The first all-new model could be in the US market by the end of 2011, according to Reuters, which reported that the plans are due to be unveiled to the US government this week.
According to the news provider, Chrysler's new owners Fiat of Italy, which took over the company recently under a rescue plan engineered by President Obama's administration, will present the proposals.
Several vehicle brands including Dodge and the Jeep range are produced by the US carmaker, which is also known for London MPV car hire favourite the Chrysler Grand Voyager.
In a review of the vehicle, motoring magazine Auto Express praised its comfort, spaciousness and "superb Stow-n-Go seating", concluding that it is "a practical people carrier".
However, the magazine added that the Grand Voyager "is much happier on motorways than on twisty roads".
