Jaguar's new XKR is the perfect Grand Tourer (GT) car, according to one reviewer.
Writing for Car Advice, Anthony Crawford awarded the vehicle a top rating after putting the car's 5.0-litre supercharged engine to the test.
He praised the car's great looks, handling and performance throughout the article.
Individuals with an interest in
prestige car hire may note the particular attention Mr Crawford paid to the car's "explosive acceleration" and its "drop dead looks".
He added in the review: "This is how the English do muscle cars, five-star luxury with supercar performance and looks to kill.
"The [Jaguar] is intended not as a sports car, but rather as five-star GT and with that in mind, it ticks all the boxes and then some."
The XKR will be able to pull motorists from zero to 62mph in a blisteringly fast time of 4.8 seconds, something he paid tribute to, describing himself as "gobsmacked at how nimble the XKR feels".
The original XKR was introduced to motorists at the 1996 Geneva Motor Show.
