Audi car hire enthusiasts with an interest in eco-friendly motoring may wish to find out about the latest electric model from the manufacturer.
The Audi A1 e-tron is the newest addition to the company's expanding electric car portfolio and the most compact.
Revealed to the world at the Geneva Motor Show, the A1 is capable of achieving a range of 31 miles in city traffic on one charge, while its internal combustion engine helps to recharge its batteries when energy is low.
Audi says that motorists will be able to enjoy driving in "near silence" when in the A1, while its "grown-up, sporty yet comfortable character" ensures the car feels larger than it is.
The concept displayed in Geneva features an aqua mint pearl effect paintjob with a contrasting roof arch.
Furthermore, the vehicle takes style cues from other e-tron models, with 18-inch wheels that follow a 20-spoke turbine design.
Speaking at the initial creation of the e-tron division, Audi CEO Rupert Stadler said: "It will be a different experience with the electric car in terms of usage, noise, torque quality and our engineers need to get familiar with customer needs."
Other models in the e-tron family include the R8 e-tron and the R4 e-tron.
