clients may wish to hear about the manufacturer's successful evening at the 2010 Fleet World Honours.

The upmarket German car company was presented with two accolades during the prestigious awards ceremony, including the coveted Fleet Manufacturer of the Year prize.

According to the judges, the introduction of its EfficientDynamics programme alongside the specialist BMW fleet division was the deciding factor in their decision.

Steve Moody, one of the adjudicators, explained that BMW continues to set the standard in the premium car sector.

"Added to that, it has had a good year with its core fleet products, scoring highly from the leasing companies in our awards analysis on customer support, reliability and residuals, and has also launched a new division that caters for small business."

In addition, the popular BMW 5-Series won the Best Executive Car crown thanks to its combination of performance, efficiency and build quality.

The judges may have also been impressed by the car's classic and elegant styling, which BMW claims offers a contemporary and sporty profile.
