Audi car hire will be pleased to learn that the manufacturer's vehicles have lower insurance premiums than their direct rivals.
Research carried out by Audi has found that, based on data sourced from the Association of British Insurers (ABI) group ratings database, motorists can expect to pay considerably less for car cover.
According to the company, the reduced costs are a direct result of low repair charges and award-winning security measures fitted across the model range.
Security is a major factor in determining the insurance ratings for cars and with four British Insurance Vehicle Security Awards and three What Car? Magazine Security Awards for 'Best Overall Manufacturer', Audi professes to be an expert.
Among the award-winning security measures that are present on the manufacturer's models is Thatcham Category 1 alarm and immobiliser technology with interior ultrasonic protection and anti-tow sensors.
The ABI exists to represent the collective interests of the UK's insurance industry and will advise on public policy issues relating to the subject.
