Writing for Auto Trader, Andy Goodwin has drawn attention to the car's "clean, timeless lines", which he claims appear to have been inspired by an American muscle car.

Furthermore, the stylish and contemporary looks are continued inside, as high quality materials, a relaxed driving position and easy-to-read displays ensure that comfortable cruising can be enjoyed.

And motorists will be pleased to learn that Audi's engineers have also excelled themselves, with the car offering a blend of refinement and speed which "effortlessly" conquers motorway driving.

"The Audi A5 is a stunning grand tourer, which covers miles with ease and doesn't sacrifice economy for performance," the reviewer noted.

According to Audi's head of design for the A5 Coupe, Walter de Silva, "the Audi A5 is the most beautiful car I have ever designed in my career".
