Thrill-seekers will have all the speed and power they need from one car if they get their hands on an Aston Martin Vantage fitted with a V12 engine, What Car? has revealed.
Offering an additional 90 bhp in comparison to a V8 engine, the 6.0-litre unit allows motorists to reach a top speed of 190 miles per hour.
Meanwhile, they can fly to 62 miles per hour from still in a rapid 4.2 seconds, with the vehicle honed to provide motorists with the ultimate in pure driving satisfaction and enjoyment.
The magazine stated: "It's the sort of car you need to grab by the scruff of the neck, which is fine when you can find a clear road in the dry, but not so much fun in traffic or when the roads are wet.
"The throttle pedal is a wonderfully delicate tool for metering out the power and the car's certainly quick when you get the chance to use it."
Furthermore, the Aston Martin V12 Vantage has benefitted from some handling updates, including a modified rear suspension, a lowered ride height and stiffened spring rates.
Grip and traction have additionally been improved by accommodating a wider wheel and tyre combination through a change to the spring design.
