Motorists wanting to drive around in the one vehicle that trumps all others should consider the Aston Martin DBS Volante, according to Jeremy Clarkson.
Writing in his column for the Times, the Top Gear presenter describes the vehicle as the "absolutely perfect car", scoring maximum marks in every department alongside offering that little bit extra.
Mr Clarkson states that the DBS Volante holds many similarities with the DB9, but is ten per cent better in all areas, ranging from the brakes to the steering to the responses.
Meanwhile, the appearance of the vehicle was singled out for specific praise, with Mr Clarkson remarking that "the DBS, with its raised rump, is just perfect".
"I know of no better-looking car in production today," he added.
Powered by a V12 6.0-litre engine, the DBS also has no problems reaching 191 miles per hour, while other sports cars are matched in the race from the line through its ability to reach 62 miles per hour from still in 4.3 seconds.
Furthermore, the car has a motorised retractable fabric roof to broaden its character, creating a "juxtaposition of performance and openness", according to the manufacturer.
