Aston Martin is looking forward to the challenge of the Nurburgring 24-hour race tomorrow (Saturday May 15th).
The manufacturer is confident that it has prepared well for the competition, where it will be represented by its Rapide and V12 Vantage vehicles.
Aston Martin car hire customers may be interested to learn that the company's chief executive officer, Dr Ulrich Bez, will be competing in the race.
David King, head of motorsport for the prestige marque, commented on the forthcoming race: "It is remarkable to see how the manufacturer interest has grown, as well as the pace and intensity of the racing.
"This year looks like being the toughest ever, particularly given the forecast of cold and wet weather throughout the race. However, we feel well prepared and we are ready for the challenge."
In addition to the 24-hour race, Aston Martin competes in various GT championships and the American Le Mans series.
