The Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet combines new technologies which make it an ideal place to be whatever the weather, it has been suggested.

According to a review on Autoblog, the new soft-top version of the manufacturer's redesigned range has an array of features to ensure motorists remain comfortable during all four seasons.

The article applauds Mercedes-Benz' use of a fabric roof, rather than the traditional hard-tops many companies are employing, as a good means of retaining both looks and practicality.

Executive car hire fans may be interested to note that the cabriolet is able to provide motorists with a "certain type of stateliness and undeniable pleasure", achievable thanks to the "relaxed, luxury four-place convertible".

"And thanks to advances in technology found in cars like the E-Cabrio, that ineffable joy promises to be had in any season and without penalty," the review added.

Among some of the standout features of the E-Class are its two-bar radiator grille and uniquely designed headlights.
